04.16.2024 - I cant believe how quick and efficient this process was! I called on a Sunday, requested shipment of my Mustang in an enclosed truck within 5 days, from a rural part of California to my home in Colorado. They picked the car up the NEXT DAY and had it in my driveway by Wednesday. The driver was very helpful with my classic car -- it wouldnt start and we had to make several attempts at jumping it before we got it going. The driver was patient and careful and super-respectful of the old gal. Would definitely use this transport team again in a heartbeat!

03.30.2024 - Scott was a big help after we had been given the run around with another company. We were picked up within 3 days best thing no deposit or payment up front, no hassle. The dispatcher for the driver called as expected gave us a time and everything fell into place. If you want a company that will get your car moved I would call ADKOS Vehicle Storage & Transport and stop looking online because they will promise you something they can not do especially if you are on a time line and most require a deposit they keep.

03.16.2024 - Overall I was pleased with my experience with Adkos. After researching at least fifteen transport providers my decision to use Adkos proved to be a good choice. While not a member of the military I was impressed with both the military connection and with the professionalism of my point of contact, Barbara V. Barbara stayed in touch with me on the receiving end and my son at the pick up location. The transport driver was able to pick up my car on a Friday in Plano Texas and deliver it to me in Maryland the following Monday. While there was a small communication issue with the driver it was only my lack of Spanish proficiency that proved difficult. Importantly there was no drama upon delivery as the driver did not have to collect his fee from me. I imagine that with the bids I received from other companies that this could be a potential point of conflict. The driver knew what he was getting paid and I didnt have to meet a stranger with cash in hand. Adkos deliverd my car as promised with no damage at a price that was reasonably competitive. I would call Adkos again should I need their services and would reccomend them without reservation.

03.11.2024 - I used Adkos to ship my car via enclosed transport and was very happy with my experience. Driver was professional and delivered my vehicle on time in the condition it was picked up in! Reasonable prices as well and communication was excellent. Carville was always willing to help. Unlike other auto transport companies, Adkos is HONEST and doesnt engage in COD or other delivery manipulation games that I have experienced in the past. Will be using them in the future no doubt.

The drivers that were transporting my vehicle made sure to do a thorough inspection when they were picking up and notified me of anything that was wrong with it. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone to transport their car.

I needed to take our vehicle out of storage earlier than we had planned and when I spoke with Mr. Webb regarding our situation he said absolutely now problem and would meet me at the airport to drop the car off with me. I sent him my flight information which would have put me at the airport at a reasonable time mid afternoon. Do to the challenges the airline industry is having I had to reschedule my meeting time for 1130pm. With only a few hours notice. He said “Roger that” and he would there. Once I finally arrived in Alabama he was waiting in baggage claim, greeted me with a smile, handshake and asked if things were ok. His positive energy and compassionate demeanor were greatly appreciated! We walk out to the car which was exactly how I left it with him 6 months earlier. He even had the parking ticket ready and with 2 signatures, I thanked him for his outstanding customer service! I had a 3 hour drive back to Florida and had some trepidation about the vehicle after being in storage for that length of time. It ran beautiful. The trust and care they take of their customers vehicles goes above and beyond any service you will find. Dedicated to taking care of our military community is an added sense of comfort. To start off, I was completely new to the whole car shipping game, researching many different companies, looking at reviews, and receiving many different quotes It all seemed intimidating and confusing. While still unsure about what company to go with, I came across Adkos. Initially, I was unsure about this company, but soon I realized this was a genuine company that did not only care about making money, but wanted to ensure I had a smooth and stress-free car shipping experience. One example of what made my experience outstanding was the customer service/communication. Before I found Adkos, I had already agreed to have my car moved using a different company. But to my surprise, they were still concerned about the moving of my car because of their experience with other companies being deceitful or in other words scams. They communicated to me the red flags in companies that are not legit as well as what to look for in an authentic business. To me, that made me feel very comfortable. So a few days passed and my representative reached out to me to check on the status of my car. Not to their surprise, they explained that the way my car was listed on a general board, it is not likely for it to be picked up in the time frame I had wanted. So they gave me a few options on what I should do and let me think about it. In the end, I chose Adkos because they layed out a game plan of getting my car shipped along with going above and beyond by offering a plan B! One thing I will probably never forget and honestly what made me write this review is the fact that immediately following my switch, they were able to find me a carrier the next day! From then on it was smooth sailing, I was able to get my car picked up and my car arrived one day early as well! From start to finish Adkos made my experience marvelous, from their excellent communication to their end result, Adkos is the company you are looking for!

The delivery was a little later in the day then planned but in my situation it was not a problem at all, I understand the drivers run into traffic and truck issues so it was a very good experience dealing with Adkos and would use them again.

06.17.2022 - If you have a vehicle to move long-distance, you have to consider using ADKOS to arrange the move. All aspects of the move were made known up front, during and at completion. Charley (ADKOS agent) took every measure to research the details of the transport in selecting the perfect transport agent for the job. I never had to question a detail of the move. The transport agent took great care in loading, transporting and unloading the vehicle. I was considering driving this special-needs van cross country to safe-guard the vehicle and also save a few bucks. I am so happy I used Charley and ADKOS instead.

The only thing that keeps me from giving five stars is a big issue with the first company they went with to move my cars. Its Yelp reviews were atrocious and I soon discovered why. The driver (who sounded Russian and for whom English was at least a fifth language), kept changing pickup times until ultimately suggesting 4 a.m. on the day we were flying. A call to Carville, the ADKOS VP, led to that outfit being dumped. ADKOS then used a company based 10 minutes from my house, which picked up my keys from a neighbor, stayed in daily text contact with me, and arrived exactly on schedule with the cars in fine condition. Had we started with them this would be five stars. Let’s say 4 1/2. Kudos to Carville for taking charge and righting the ship. Kristen was also very helpful.

Communication was excellent throughout shipment and arrival in CA, with regular updates on expected delivery date, even including the name and cell number of driver who would bring the car to me. When the driver who called 24-hours out from delivery was different than the one previously identified, ADKOS responded to a query in less than an hour confirming identity of driver even though the query was made after business hours. Despite all the logistics issues going on with the ports, the car made it in just over a month and arrived in excellent condition. Would use ADKOS again for any future relocation.

The driver, Peter 847 650-2084,Contacted me a day i advance and we agreed on a very convenient location that had enough room for the truck and was 5 minutes from my front door. 06.24.2021 - We were in a situation with a new car when we were assigned overseas.  We knew that shipping the vehicle would not be a wise choice due to the roads we were pcsing too and if we sold it we would lose money.  We used ADKOS and five years later our car is worth a considerable sum in excellent condition and they are dropping it off on the other side of the country so we can pick it up right when we land.  Great investment.  The math is as follows.  We would have taken a 10 to 15K loss had we sold it and we paid roughly 15 to 20K for 5 years of storage and delivery.  Tune up and new tires and tags and license so when we have it delivered to us it is like brand new and now it is worth a net of 40K.  Great personal service and we could not be happier.  Highly recommend them.

He knew more about the joint travel regulations and process for reimbursement than even my resource advisor and unti deployment manager.  He worked with me as my resource advisor continued to jerk me around regarding storage payments and was truly a phenomenal person to deal with before, during, and no post deployment when I needed to schedule my car for service.  George was amazing.  He was so accommodating whenever I reached out.  His attention to detail was unmatched from detailing the car and filling it up with gas to diagnosing the errors that appeared during the monthly check of the vehicle.  George was a delight.  This is the only place a person needs when trying to store their car.  The facility is climate controlled and there is a website you can see what is going with the car.  If ever need to store my car again I know where to go.

08.22.2020 - Premier service!  Recommend to friends and family.  Mitch Morgan did a fantastic job of taking care of my vintage vehicle while I was deployed for a year.  It was moved a couple times per month to keep the engine, gas and tires in good condition.  I received periodic updates every month.  When I went to pick up the vehicle it was even washed, waxed, and gassed up and ready to go.

They do not disclose where there locations are until you sign up with them.  This made me feel more secure knowing that not everyone knew were my car was being stored.  They will drive your car around the parking lot to make sure your oil circulates and the seals do not get dry rotted.  They also send monthly reports of the things they do with your car.  They got my battery replaced and even took it to get an inspection done so I could register it.  Top notch company and I will be using them again when needed.

05.11.2020 - Convenient, good customer service.  The actual storage location was about a 35 minute drive from where I resided.  There are other storage companies out there for vehicles but to my knowledge none check on your car i.e. start it up once a month, check oil, battery etc.  Their pick up and drop off service was a big help since there were no ride share services i.e. Uber or Lyft available near my storage location.  It is an extra cost but is helpful if you do not have a ride to or from your place.

02.18.2020 - Like a lot of people, shipping cars is probably not something you do very ofter.  And who do you call?  Like us, you will probably make calls to a few different companies and hope for the best.  Well, let me save you the worry.  You will make the right choice if you just call ADKOS.  They are, by far, the best.  Ryan and the team at ADKOS helped us through treacherous waters, literally, supporting us and our concerns every step of the way.  In my opinion, they go above and behond any expectation you may have.  Believe me when I say that you will be in good hands.  You will get the best service with the most experienced staff you can find.  So, no need to worry.  Give them a call, you will see what I mean.

02.13.2020 - My son was deployed to Afghanistan and his pickup needed to be shipped to Montana from New York.  Don was very attentive and realistic about the details of the transport.  He was in communication ofter about the possible pickup dates and what to expect.  We had two hurdles to overcome for a speedy transport.  A remote pickup from upstate New York and a remote drop off in rural Montana.  The driver picked up the vehicle on February 9 and it was delivered on February 12.  This was remarkably fast since it could have taken as long as 7 to 10 days.  My son took pictures to document the condition of the vehicle before pickup.  When the driver arrived he took many more pictures of the vehicle noting a previous but obvious ding in the back box panel.  Documentation meant they are just as concerned with potential damage issues as the customer.  I received a text wearly the afternoon of February 11 from the driver letting me know he would be available for drop off either that night or anytime the next morning whichever was more convenient to us.  We made arrangements for a 715 am rendezvouse.  When we arrived the pickup was already unloaded and was warming up in the 10 degree F temperature with the snow brushed off.  The driver was exceptionally courteous and very flexible with our time and ability to make the hand off only quite early in the morning.  This company is a tiny bit more expensive but the extra cash output is more than worth the professional service and assurance your vehicle will arrive as timely as possible and intact.  We will most definitely use ADKOS should the need arise again.  The choice is actually easy.  We will not need to shop around again for the best transport because we already did all the research this time.

02.12.2020 - Thank you, everything is to our satisfaction.  I also wanted to tell you that we took the Pilot in today to get a thorought inspection.  The shop actually requested me to personally take a look at the car while it was on the lift.  They were amazed at how well the car was taken care of for the past 5 plus years, as they expected a lot more damage to it and there was none.  They wanted me to pass along how impressed they were with your practices, and stated that your services were well worth the money.  Car looks and runs great.  Thank you again.

08.01.2017 - If you do not choose ADKOS to store your vehicle you are making a mistake.  They provide a superior service to any that I or my friends have used.  They treated my car with the TLC I would have.  After three years of storage the car was returned in the exact same condition as it was given.  Not one scratch or ding.  The vehicle is in excellent condition and runs smoothly.  I did not even need a new battery.  They know what they are doing and are easily the best choice.  The increased workload of filing a storage travel claim once a quarter is well worth the peace of mind.  The claim process was simple and straight forward and I received reimbursements approximately 2 weeks after submitting a claim.  If you select ADKOS you will not be disappointed.

03.23.2017 - Its too easy storing vehicles with ADKOS.  While many if not most in the military think they are forced to use the military contract storage companies - this is simply FALSE.  A little additional paperwork and approval upfront and you will have YEARS of resting easy knowing that your vehicles are personally being well taken care of.  The personal care received at ADKOS  from your first email contact to the pick up and delivery of your vehicle to the monthly updats about the satus of your ride is really perfect.  ADKOS knows their core business.  That is their only focus and they do it extremely well.  I have used them for two overseas deployments now and would not even consider anyone else.  Highly Recommended.

Best kept secret out there for military members. And I don't like saying this, but, it's especially great for single military members. I contacted ADKOS merely days before going TDY enroute to a deployment; they met me at the airport, meticulously went through/over paperwork, helped me with my luggage and kept in touch with me throughout my deployment. And, when it was time to redeploy home, they were available...no matter if it was a weekend or a holiday. It was great being met at the airport with my own vehicle. ADKOS is more cooperative, friendly and understanding than any of the storage facilities you have to drive your car to. If a military member is authorized POV storage, you can utilize this service. ADKOS bills you directly, and then you file a monthly voucher. Even as a reservist, this worked out SO nicely! I'm on my second deployment using their services.

I just wanted to let you know how wonderful Tom is. My flight from Denver to Phoenix was cancelled upon my arrival there. The airlines put me on a flight for later that evening. To make a long story short, I called Tom to let him know that I wouldn't be able to meet him that day and that I'd call him the next morning.

"I checked into my squadron just prior to a 7 month overseas deployment, and I had very little prep time to get everything organized. I had no idea where I was going to leave my Corvette and worried that when I returned the battery would be shot, tires warped, and all the fluids would be useless or have leaked out. A guy in my squadron told me he had just heard of your company recently and we both decided to give it a shot. I worked with Tony Iversen, who was hugely helpful in setting everything up.
The vehicle pickup was a very convenient option given our compressed timeline, and the updates I received via email while I was gone were great. The best part was when Tony informed me that they could bring my car to the local Chevy dealership and have any maintenance I wanted done to it while I was gone. Since I had just driven it across the country I had a massive list of things I wanted done to the car, and I was able to have all of it taken care of while I was gone. I stored my Subaru with you when I got one year deployment orders back in Feb 2011. Your company was super flexible in picking up my vehicle and then dropping it off exactly where I needed it, when I needed it, especially when the deployment closed down earlier than anticipated.
There was never an issue, only great customer service. Your office helped with everything, including working through the bumps in educating my local finance and TMO on the JFTR and filing my travel voucher for reimbursement.
Because of this exceptional service, I had no hesitation with turning right around and storing our van with your company for 3 years when I PCS'd to Japan. I was kept well informed and once again ADKOS received nothing but praise as you coordinated pickup of the vehicle even during the storm of the century in Seattle. Laura picked up my car this morning here in Arlington, VA, and I just wanted to send what we in the Navy call a "Bravo Zulu" for her great customer service. Laura arrived right on schedule, which is terrific considering the DC area traffic and how confusing it can be to find my apartment complex in Arlington! I was on deployment out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and I looked up Adkos via Google. Once I contacted them I was able to do all of my paperwork via email and they came and picked my car up for me! I felt at ease once my car was picked up. I was given updates of when my car was picked up and once it made it safely to the storage location, I received an email with the inspection paperwork and pictures of my car in its storage garage. Adkos always answered my questions and I was able to login their website to check the status of my car. When it was time to remove my car from storage, the Adkos team worked with me and delivered my car to the airport and it was their waiting for me when I landed! They took better care of my car then the storage company the government uses to store cars. If you have to store your car, I highly recommend Adkos. My car was taken care of and looked after professionally and not just left alone until I requested its removal.

In addition to taking care of my car, Chance provided numerous services that I couldn't do myself and that I didn't expect:

1. When flying overseas for my next duty assignment, I met with Chance at the airport and released my car to him (5 am). Everything was good until about 30 minutes later when I attempted to check in for my flight, I was told that my flight was changed to another airport more than an hour away! I was never notified by my chain of command regarding the change, but that's another issue. I quickly called Chance to see if he could help me out, and he told me "no problem." Minutes later, Chance returned my vehicle to me at the original airport and followed me to the next airport and then I (again) released my vehicle to him.

2. My car was stored in South Carolina, I was returning from Asia, my next duty station (for the purpose of separating) was North Carolina, and I needed to sell my car ASAP so that I could save up for school tuition in the upcoming fall. When I flew into North Carolina, I was originally planning on renting a car and driving 6-7 hours down to South Carolina for meeting up with a potential buyer (dealership). Taking the cost of lodging, gas, and time lost driving into consideration, who knows how much this would've cost me. Chance heard my difficult situation through and offered to show my car to the potential buyer, and he also delivered it to the dealer upon my request! All in all, I think this alone probably saved me a few hundred bucks.

3. I had a few valuable items left in the car, which I wasn't able to pick up due to my distant location. Prior to releasing my vehicle to the dealership for my transaction, Chance called me up to let me know exactly which items were in the car (it's been 1.5 years since I last saw my car so I couldn't remember) and generously offered to provide the service of shipping those items to my address.

4. Also, while I was overseas, Chance helped me with administrative matters when I tried to get my vehicle registration renewed. He offered to have my registration sent directly to him and also scanned and sent multiple documents upon my request. He was truly a lifesaver in many aspects, and I don't think any other company would have provided such services with enthusiasm.

Overall, I was extremely impressed about the professional manner in which ADKOS conducted their business, but I was most touched by the personlized services and support they provided me. As a service member doing a tour overseas, I could really sense that Chance, and ADKOS as an organization, was on my side 100%. Although I am about to leave the Marine Corps, if anybody is looking for a private storage company (reimbursed by government) during your deployment or tour overseas, look no further than ADKOS. I couldn't recommend them anymore.

"In 2005 I Contacted Peter Baker of Adkos to store my car while I was stationed in Okinawa Japan, to begin with I had no clue to how far Peter would go to take care of his clients, I had certain expectations and I have to say they were far exceeded by Peter. Service like that can only be found from Peter Baker and Adkos, a company that took care of us like Family and made a very hectic PCS move stress free."
